Attaching the hand strap:
Attach the hand strap to the rear of your AcuTab 2 with sticking the hooks both on the hand strap and
AcuTab 2 . Ensure the hand strap is securely attached. The hand strap makes it easy to carry the device

Installing External Module Pack (Optional)
Installing battery pack:
For installing the battery pack, remove the cover of the external battery connector (step1) and place it on the
Lower position (step2). Then screw the battery frame at the rear side (step3) for placing the battery pack (step4).
Please assure the battery pack is snapped into the external battery connector and external battery hook firmly
(step5).

Installing Barcode Scanner and MSR Module:
The AcuTab 2 System provides barcode scanner and car reader functions for your optional selection, before installing
Either of these two modules on the topside of the system, please remove the screws previously (illustrated in the
Following graphics as indicatedstep1).
This system offers Barcode/MSR Transfer Board for screwing into the main board before you install the Barcode or
MSR module. For installing Barcode Scanner module, please switch the DIP 1/2 to — ON" and DIP3/4 to —OFF" on
this board; for installing MSR module, please switch the DIP1/2 to —ON" and DIP3/4to —OFF" on this board
(illustrated in the following graphics as indicated step2).
After switch the DIP, screw the transfer board to the main board (illustrated in the following graphics as indicated
step3).
Then connect the Barcode Scanner or MSR module to the transfer board, and screw this module to the system.
