11. ALWAYS use a new, sterile
lancet each time you test.
NEVER reuse a lancet that has
already been used. To load the
next lancet, twist the plunger
one‑quarter turn forward
(until it stops), then twist it
back all the way.
12. The lancet counter decreases
one number. For safety
reasons, once you advance to
a new lancet, you cannot go
back to a used lancet.
13. Wash hands thoroughly with
soap and water.
NOTE
Do not twist the plunger when the release button is yellow or when the lancet counter shows a number 1.
This may damage the device.
