Screen Messages and Troubleshooting
Never make treatment decisions based on an error message. If you have any concerns, please call
the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center at 1-800-858-8072, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The meter won’t turn on or the display is blank.
Possible cause
Solution
Battery is dead.
Insert a new battery.
Temperature is too cold.
Move somewhere warmer and repeat test.
Display is damaged.
Call the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center.
Meter is defective.
Call the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center.
Blood sugar may be lower than the measuring range of the system or the test strip has
been bent. See Chapter 6, “Specifications.” We recommend retesting your blood sugar
according to Chapter 3, “Testing Your Blood Sugar.” Verify results by running a control test.
