SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE

The appliance is suitable for picking up dry, non-flammable

dust and liquids.

The vacuum cleaners described in this operating manual are

suitable for
for separation of dust with an exposure limit of greater than 1

mg/m³, (dust class L).
commercial use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories,

shops, offices and rental businesses.
Any other use is considered as improper use. The

manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage resulting from

such use. The risk for such use is borne solely by the user.
Proper use also includes proper operation, servicing and

repairs as specified by the manufacturer.

CONNECTING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

Use the socket on the vacuum cleaner for the purpose defined

in the operating instructions only.
Before plugging an appliance into the appliance socket:

Switch off the vacuum cleaner. Switch off the appliance to be

connected.
CAUTION! Follow the operating instructions and safety

instructions for appliances connected to the power tool socket.”

MAINS CONNECTION

Connect only to single-phase AC current and only to the

system voltage indicated on the rating plate. It is also possible

to connect to sockets without an earthing contact as the design

conforms to safety class II.

MAINTENANCE

The device must be sent to a Milwaukee customer service

centre at least once a year for a technical inspection.
During maintenance and cleaning, handle the vacuum cleaner

in such a manner that there is no danger for maintenance staff

or other persons.
In the maintenance area:

- use filtered compulsory ventilation

- wear protective clothing

- clean the maintenance are so that no harmful substances get

into the surroundings
Tests and approvals:

Electrical tests must be performed in accordance with the

provisions of safety regulations (BGV A3) and to DIN VDE

0701 Part 1 and Part 3. In accordance with DIN VDE 0702

these tests must be performed at regular intervals and after

repairs or modifications.”

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Appliances used at many different locations including open air

should be connected via a residual current device (FI, RCD,

PRCD) of 30mA or less.
Before doing any work on the machine, pull the plug out of the

socket.
Make sure the machine is switched off before plugging in.
Never suck up into the machine any inflammable or explosive

solvents, or liquids like petrol, oil, alcohol, thinners, or small

particles (such as metal filings or ash) that may be hotter than

60°C - otherwise there is danger of explosion or fire!
You are not allowed to use the appliance in the vicinity of

inflammable gases or substances.
Do not put appliances or accessories into operation, if: the

appliance has recognizable damage (cracks/breaks), the

mains connection lead is defective or shows signs of cracking

or aging, there is a suspected non-visible defect (after having

been dropped).
Do not point the nozzle, hose or tube at people or animals.
The plug socket on the appliance may be used only for the

purposes defined in the usage instructions.
If any foam or water egresses, switch off immediately. Empty

the container and, if need be, the pleated filter.
Acids, acetone and solvents can corrode the appliance

components.
In the event of misuse, improper operation or unprofessional

repair work no liability shall be assumed by us for any damage

incurred.
Do not use suction on health damaging dusts.
Not suitable for sweeping up liquids which form a large foam.

If the mains connection cable is damaged the machine must

not be used.
Have the faulty mains connecting lead replaced by your

Milwaukee service representative or a qualified electrician prior

to using the appliance again.
Make sure that the mains connection cable is not damaged,

squashed, bent, or damaged by being run over or in any other

way.
Extension cables to the mains must at least be protected from

water spray and contain an earth lead.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or

insufficient experience and/or knowledge unless they are

supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or

have been instructed by them in the safe use of the appliance.

Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do

not play with the tool.
Before liquids are picked up, always remove the filter bag.

Insert filter for wet operation. Check that the float works and

level indicator hose properly. If foam develops or liquid

emerges, stop work immediately and empty the dirt tank.
CAUTION! Clean the water level demarcation and inspect it for

damage regularly.
The machine is to be connected to the mains via an

10A / 13A / 16A (230V), 25A (110V) contact-breaker or a fuse.
CAUTION! This device must not be used or stored outdoors in

wet conditions.
The power supply cord may only be replaced with the type

described in the operation manual.
Measures must be taken to ensure that there is adequate

ventilation in rooms in which the device is used as a dust

extractor. Any national regulations in this regard must be

complied with.
CAUTION! The device may contain noxious dust. Emptying

and maintenance procedures, including the removal of dust

collectors, may only be carried out by trained personnel

wearing appropriate protective gear. Do not operate without

complete filtration system.
