W ARNING! An earth auger is a
dangerous tool if used carelessly or
incorrectly and can cause serious,
even fatal injuries. It is extremely
important that you read and
understand the contents of this
Operator’s Manual.
Please read the operator’s manual
carefully and make sure you
understand the instructions before
using the machine.

• Approved hearing protection
• Approved eye protection
This product is in accordance with
applicable EC directives.
Drilling into or contact with electrical
cables or wires can lead to death or
serious bodily injury. The machine is
not electrically insulated.
Striking something hard in the earth,
such as rocks or tree roots, may
cause the drill to come to a sudden
stop. This can lead to a reacting
motion on the auger, which can
cause the operator to lose control of
the machine or throw him to the
ground, resulting in serious injury.
Always wear approved protective
gloves.
Wear sturdy, non-slip boots or shoes.

certification requirements for certain markets.
The engine is switched off by moving
the stop switch to the stop position.
