■ TAPE/MD
Note: TV POWER, TV VOLUME and TV INPUT function if you have preset the code
for your TV.

POWER
This button turns the unit on under factory settings. If another code for your CD player
whose remote control has a power button is preset, the button will turn on the CD
player.

DISC SKIP (+/–) (for a CD player with a CD changer)
Press these buttons to skip the next or previous CD.

, (SKIP)
Press to skip to the beginning of the next track. Press to skip to the beginning
of the previous track.

(PLAY)
Press this button to play a CD.

(SEARCH)
This button initiates a backward search on the track that is playing to find the point
from which you want to listen.

(PAUSE)
Press this button to give a pause in operation. This button functions as PAUSE/
STOP* for operating YAMAHA CD players under factory settings.

(STOP)
Press this button to stop operation. This button functions as PAUSE/STOP* for
operating YAMAHA CD players under factory settings.

(SEARCH)
This button initiates a fast-forward search on the track that is playing to find the point
from which you want to listen.

TAPE

This button turns the unit on under factory settings. If another
code for your tape deck whose remote control has a power
button is preset, the button will turn on the tape deck.

Press this button to give a pause in recording on the
tape deck.

DIR A
Press this button to select the playing direction of deck A.

Press this button to play a tape.

(REWIND)
Press this button to rewind a tape.

DECK A/B
Press this button to select deck A or B on the double
cassette tape deck.

Press this button to select the playing direction of deck B.
