Troubleshooting Procedures

Ribbon may be improperly
installed.

Ribbon may be entirely used
Load a new ribbon cartridge.

MECHANICAL ERROR
A mechanical error occurred;
e.g., card jam.
Remove jammed card.
COVER OPEN
The cover is open.
Make sure that the cover is
completely and securely closed.
PARAMETER ERROR
A parameter error occurred.
Reset the Printer, and try
printing the card again.
COMMAND ERROR
A command error occurred.
Reset the Printer, and try
printing the card again.
CONTACT ERROR
A contact error occurred.
Reset the Printer, and try
printing the card again.
CONTACTLESS ERROR
A contactless error occurred.
Reset the Printer, and try
printing the card again.
INVALID CONTACT DATA
The contact data is invalid.
Reset the Printer, and try
printing the card again.
INVALID CONTACTLESS DATA
The contactless data is invalid.
