The Kawasaki engine model, type, and code num-
bers are located on the starter side of the engine
shroud. For the mower model covered by this man-
ual, an engine manual is available to cover the
Kawasaki FE400.

The detailed servicing and repair of the engine,
hydrostatic transmission and gearboxes are not cov-
ered in this manual. Only routine maintenance and
general service instructions are provided. For the
