Basic Operation

Basic functions of your LCD TV include setting the input source, changing the channel and
adjusting the volume. There are two methods to access the basic controls of your LCD TV. The
first is via the controls located on the main unit itself (see Front Display and Controls), the
second uses the supplied universal remote control (see Remote Control).

Powering LCD TV

Before using the LCD TV:
1. Insert the supplied AC power adapter as shown in Rear Panel Connections.
2. Ensure all external equipment is properly connected.
3. Turn on the Main AC Power Switch, located at the rear of the unit (if the LCD TV will not

be used for a long period of time, please leave it switched off).

LCD TV is now in standby mode and ready to be switched on.

Standby On/Off

Both the LCD TV unit and the remote control have power buttons. During standby, press either
power button to switch on the LCD TV screen. The power LED is lit when the LCD TV is
switched on.
Press either button a second time to switch off the screen. LCD TV enters standby.

Adjusting the VOLUME

Press VOL-/VOL+ to adjust the volume to the desired level.
To retain the current volume setting but temporarily switch off audio, press MUTE.
To restore the volume, press MUTE again to directly adjust the level. The current volume
setting is displayed as a percentage (1~100) of the total output for reference.
