Reduced alarm level
1. Deactivation of the deadlocks and detectors.
2. No function.
To avoid inadvertently triggering the alarm,
for example during a ferry crossing, the
movement and tilt detectors can be tempo-
rarily deactivated as follows:
– Turn the ignition key to position II and then
back to position 0. Remove the key.
– Press button (1). The light in the button is
illuminated until the car is locked.
A message is shown on the display as long
as the key remains in the ignition switch (and
for one minute after the key is removed).
If the car is equipped with deadlocks, they
are deactivated at the same time, see
page 109.
The detectors are reactivated and deadlocks
re-engaged the next time the car is started.
