Messages in the display
A message appears in the display whenever
a warning or indicator symbol illuminates.
Once you have read and understood the
message, press the READ button (A). Read
messages are then erased from the display
and stored in a memory. Messages regarding
faults remain in the memory until the fault has
been remedied.
Very serious fault messages cannot be
erased from the display. They remain in the
display until the fault is remedied.
Messages stored in the memory can be read
again. Press the READ button (A) to see
stored messages. Scroll through the mes-
sages stored in the memory by pressing the
READ button.
Press the READ button to return read mes-
sages to the memory.
NOTE
If a warning message interrupts when you
are in the trip computer menu or wish to use
the phone, you must first acknowledge the
message by pressing the
READ
button (A).

SERVICE URGENT
Have the car checked by an authorised Volvo workshop immediately.

Read the owner’s manual.
SERVICE REQUIRED
Have the car checked by an authorised Volvo workshop as soon as possible.
FIX NEXT SERVICE
Have your car checked at the next service interval.
TIME FOR REGULAR SERVICE
Time for regular service at an authorised Volvo workshop. The timing is determined by the number of
kilometres driven, number of months since the last service and engine running time.
