7. Select the Server tab.
8. Select SLIP: Unix Connection.
9. Deselect Log on to network.
10. Click TCP/IP Settings….
11. From SLIP TCP/IP settings dialog box, enter the IP Address
provided by your CDPD carrier.
12. If you have been given the address of a Domain Name Server
(DNS), select Name server addresses. Enter the address as
your Primary DNS.
Note: A DNS is needed to access sites by name, e.g.
www.uniden.com.
13. Deselect Use IP header compression.
14. Select Use default gateway on remote network.
15. Click OK twice.
