Switching the Answer Machine On/Off
1. To turn the Answering System on,
press
answer
.
A tone sounds, and the current outgoing
message plays on the Base Unit speaker
and the Message Counter LED turns on. A
second tone sounds to indicate the unit is
ready to answer calls.
2. To turn the Answering System off, press
answer
again. A tone sounds and the
Message Counter LED turns off.
Setting the Clock
The clock in your XSA660/650 Answering
System starts when power is applied to the
Base Unit. Follow these steps to set the clock to
the correct time.
1. Press and hold the
clock
button until a
beep tone is heard and the day is
announced.
2. Press
skip
or
repeat
until the correct day
is announced.
3. Press
clock
again. Press
skip
or
repeat
until the correct hour is announced.
4. Press
clock
again. Press
skip
or
repeat
until the correct minute is announced.
5. Press
clock
again. Press s
kip
or
repeat
to
select AM
[ - A ]
or PM
[ - P ]
.
6. Press
clock
to return to Standby.
The selected time and day is announced
For example, to set Tuesday at 3.10AM:
Press and hold
clock
then “Sunday” will be
announced.
Press
skip
x 2 times, “Tuesday”, will be announced.
Press
clock
then
skip
4 times “three, will be announced.
Press
clock
then
skip
11 times “ten”, will be announced.
Press
clock
then
skip
1 time “AM”, will be announced.
Press
clock
to finish, the complete time and day will be announced.
