Troubleshooting
When you have this
problem...
Try...
I can’t get two handsets to
talk to an outside caller.
Checking to see that there are not two handsets already using the conference
feature (see page 38).
Making sure another handset is not in Privacy Mode (see page 40).
Making sure both handsets are registered to and currently connected to the same
base (see pages 14 and 15).

The answering system does
not work.
Checking the AC adapter connection (see page 7).
Checking to see if the answering system is turned on (see page 47).

not record any messages.
The memory may be full. Delete some or all of the saved messages (see page
