Common.Issues
If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps first. If these steps do not solve

Make.sure.the.AC.adapter.is.plugged.into.the.base.or.the.charger.(if.you.
have.more.than.one.handset).and.wall.outlet.
Make.sure.the.handset.is.properly.seated.in.the.cradle.
Make.sure.the.charging.contacts.on.the.handset.are.clean..

The.audio.sounds.weak. Move.the.handset.and/or.base.away.from.metal.objects.or.appliances.and.
try.again.
Make.sure.that.you.are.not.too.far.from.the.base..
If.your.handset.is.wet,.shake.the.handset.to.remove.any.excess.water.from.
the.speaker.and.microphone,.then.wipe.the.handset.dry.

Can’t.make.or.receive.calls. Make.sure.that.you.are.not.too.far.from.the.base..
Make.sure.the.line.is.not.in.use..If.an.outside.call.is.already.using.a.line,.
you.cannot.use.that.line.to.make.another.outside.call.
Check.both.ends.of.the.base.telephone.line.cord.
Make.sure.the.AC.adapter.is.plugged.into.the.base.and.wall.outlet.
Disconnect.the.AC.adapter.and.the.backup.battery.and.reconnect.
Change.the.Digital.Security.Code.(see.page.55).

Make.sure.that.you.are.not.too.far.from.the.base..
Charge.the.battery.in.the.handset.for.at.least.5-20.hours.by.placing.the.

If.the.handset.is.under.water,.the.ringer.will.not.be.heard..The.phone.can.
still.recieve.calls.
