ANALOG IN (UNBALANCED)
These
RCA jacks accept analog audio signals from suit-
ably-equipped units (–10 dBV, unbalanced).

ANALOG OUT (UNBALANCED)
These
RCA jacks output analog audio signals (at –10 dBV
levels, unbalanced) to suitably-equipped units.
K
USB
This B type USB connector is used to
connect the CD-RW4U to a host computer when it is
being used in the USB mode. For details, see the CD-
RW4U USB Operation Guide.
L
(AC power)
Use the connected power cable
to connect the CD-RW4U to the AC power supply.
Always ensure that the voltage supplied is the same
as that indicated on the rear panel of the CD-RW4U.
If you are in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

between the various repeat modes when playing back

Use this key to switch
between the different display modes available.

Repeated presses of this key cycle
through the different menu items used to set parame-
ters (equivalent to

Pressing this key is equivalent to

to confirm an
entry.

FADER key
Use this key to start fade-in
recordings or to start a fade-out when recording.

MONITOR key
Use this key to output the
signals received at the currently selected input(s)
through the outputs when not recording or in record
ready mode.

PLAY MODE key
Use this key to choose
between the different playback modes.

FINALIZE key
Use this key to finalize
recordable discs. See “Finalizing” on page 12 and
“Finalizing discs” on page 27 for details (equivalent

ERASE key
Use this key (with CD-RW discs
only) to erase tracks, or a whole disc, or to refresh a
“bad” disc, or to unfinalize a finalized disc. See
