Playback
Opening and closing the tray

Turn on the power using the POWER button on the
main unit. 1
The button and the display light.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button. 2
The tray opens after a second or two (this delay is due to the
movement of the internal mechanism of the unit before
opening).
Insert the disc label side uppermost. 3
< Make sure the disc is centrally located, in order to avoid any
malfunction or jamming of the tray or the unit.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again. 4
The tray closes. Take care not to trap your fingers in the tray.
The unit reads the disc (this may take a little time).
Press the PLAY button to start playback. 5
Pausing playback
Press the PAUSE button to pause playback (the ring
surrounding the PAUSE button on the main unit lights).
Press PLAY or PAUSE to restart playback.
Stopping playback
Press the STOP button (the ring surrounding the STOP button
on the main unit lights).
Pressing OPEN/CLOSE opens the tray if it is closed, and closes
it if it is open. When the tray is opened during playback, it
may take a few seconds before the disc is “unloaded” and
the tray opens.
