Basic operations
Discs
Remote control only
Random play
[VCD] [CD]
Plays all discs once each in random order.
Ensure a Video CD or CD is in the play position tray. (Random play is not
possible if the play position tray is empty or contains a disc other than a
Video CD or CD.)

While stopped
Press [PLAY MODE] to display “RANDOM” on the
tuner/amplifier.

Each time you press the button:
ALL DISC
PRGM RANDOM (off)

Press [ ] (play) .
To exit random mode
Press [PLAY MODE] while in the stop mode to clear “RANDOM” on the
tuner/amplifier.
Note
p If the disc is a Video CD with PBC, menu play is automatically canceled
during random play.
p This function skips discs other than a Video CD or CD.
p You cannot skip to tracks already played.
p You can search only within a track being played in random play.
ALL DISC play
[VCD] [CD]
You can play up to 5 discs in succession to the final disc.
Ensure a Video CD or CD is in the play position tray. (ALL DISC play is not
possible if the play position tray is empty or contains a disc other than a
Video CD or CD.)

Press [PLAY MODE] to display “ALL DISC” on the
tuner/amplifier.

Each time you press the button:
ALL DISC
PRGM RANDOM (off)

Press [ ] (play).
To cancel
Press [PLAY MODE] while in the stop mode to clear “ALL DISC” on the
tuner/amplifier.
Final disc
For example, if play starts from disc 4, disc 3 will be the final disc.
Order of progression: Disc 4

Press [DISC] and (within 10 seconds) [1]–[5] to
select the disc.
Play starts from the first item.
p If a menu appears (Video CD with PBC), press [ w ] to cancel menu
play.

Press the numbered buttons to select the item.
Play starts from the selected item.
To select a 2-digit number
Example: To select track 23, press [
5 10/-/--] ➡ [2] ➡ [3].
[WMA] [MP3] [JPEG] : [2] ➡ [3] ➡ [ENTER]
Note
This works only when stopped with some discs.
