A

Energy-Saving Outlets

All outlets provide surge and noise protection.
Battery backup outlets support connected
equipment during power failures—connect
critical components such as your computer
and monitor to these outlets. ECO outlets work
with the ECO energy saver feature—connect
nonessential, intermittent-use peripherals
(such as printers, scanners, speakers and
external drives) to these outlets. The UPS
system will save energy by automatically turning
off the ECO outlets when it detects that your
computer is turned off or in standby mode.
(USB connection required; outlets function as
standard surge/noise protected outlets when the
ECO energy saver feature is disabled.) All outlets
deliver superior power efficiency that reduces
your electric bill, energy consumption and
carbon emissions around the clock.

B

ECO Status LED

Green LED illuminates when the ECO
energy-saving feature is enabled and flashes
when the UPS system automatically turns
off the ECO outlets.

C

illuminates if the UPS system is overloaded
and flashes if the battery needs recharging or
replacement.
