T1050M UPS System includes all of the features and functions described in
the accompanying owner's manual with the exception of the information listed in this addendum. Q

The OMNISMAR

will not
automatically turn on in the presence of
live utility power
. After plugging the UPS into the wall outlet, push the
“ON/OFF” Button for one second to turn the UPS on.

All connected equipment should be turned of
f, then disconnected from the UPS to avoid battery drain. Press and hold the
"ON/OFF" Button for one second.
The UPS will be completely of
f (deactivated).
Y
our UPS is now ready for storage. If you
plan on storing your UPS for an extended period of time, fully rechar
ge the UPS batteries once every three months by plug-
ging the UPS into a live
AC outlet, turning the UPS on (by pressing and holding the "ON/OFF" Button for one second) and
letting the UPS char
ge for 4 to 6 hours. If you leave your UPS batteries dischar
ged for an extended period of time, they will
suf
fer a permanent loss of capacity
.
“ON/OFF” Button •
T
o
turn the UPS on:
press and hold the “ON/OFF” Button for one second.*
If utility power is absent, pressing
the button will
“cold-start” the UPS
(i.e.: turn it on and supply power from its batteries**).

turn the UPS off:
press and hold the “ON/OFF” Button for one
second.*
The UPS will be completely of
f (deactivated).

The alarm will beep once briefly after the indicated interval has passed. ** If fully char
ged.
Note: the OMNISMART1050M's “ON/OFF” Button will not
place the UPS in “Char
ge-Only” Mode.
“LINE POWER” LED:
this green LED lights continuously to indicate that
the UPS is on and supplying your equipment with
AC power from a utility
source. Note: the OMNISMART1050M's “LINE POWER” LED will not
flash because the UPS cannot be
placed in “Char
ge-Only” Mode.

Botón “ON/OFF” •
Para encender
el UPS:
presione y mantenga presionado el botón
“ON/OFF” por un segundo*. Si la ener
gía eléctrica utilitaria se encuentra
ausente, el presionar el botón encenderá el UPS “en frío” (El UPS se encenderá proporcionando ener
gía de sus baterías**).
•
Para apagar
el UPS:
presione y mantenga presionado el botón “ON/OFF”
por un segundo.* El UPS se apagará completamente (desactivado).
* La alarma sonará una vez al pasar el intervalo indicado. ** Si la unidad se encuentra completamente car
gada.
Nota: El botón “ON/OFF” del OMNISMART1050M's no
activará el UPS en modo de “Car
ga de
baterías solamente”. LED “LINE POWER” (Energía en línea):
este LED verde se enciende
continuamente para indicar que el UPS está encendido y proporcionando corriente alterna. Nota: el LED “LINE POWER” no
se encenderá intermitentemente pues el UPS no tiene la
característica de “Car
ga de baterías solamente”.
