Description
Duplex duplex:
single
long
short

hduplex, hd
For simplex, print single sided. If not
specified, the printer’s front panel
sets the default to either simplex or
duplex.
For duplex and hduplex, print double
sided with long-edge binding, short-
edge binding.
This command is defined in the
configuration file.
Relay relay:

CORE option only. This feature allows
the CORE driver to print a formatted
file with some PJL commands added
in the print job header and footer.
These PJL commands can be finishing
options that will be applied to the
page on the engine at print time.

Language

Force language to PostScript mode.
Only the PDL for the specific build is
valid. For example, if the driver is a
PostScript build, post is the only
valid parameter.
To use PCL5, use the PCL5 Unix driver
build.
To use PCL6, use the PCL6 Unix driver
build.
Text mode
text:

text, texton, ascii
textoff
CORE option only. In PostScript, print
text, without interpreting it. In non-
PostScript, add CR for each LF.
This option allows the CORE driver to
pass data to the printer without
adding any extra commands.
Pesc mode

Same as Text Command.
