Playing CDs
The DX-R700 is capable of four different styles of
playback.
• Normal playback
• Random playback
• Repeat playback
• Programmed playback
Preparation
• Turn on the DX-R700 (see page 16).
• Place the CD or recorded CD-R or CD-RW in the
DX-R700 (see page 17).
Normal playback
Press the s button.
Playback starts at track 1.
To stop playback
Press the e button.

To pause playback
Press the g button. To resume playback, press the
s
button.
To skip to specific track
Turn the MULTI JOG dial to the left or right and
select the desired track. With the remote controller,
press the q or w button.

Press once to skip to the beginning of the
track currently being played. Press twice in
succession to skip to the beginning of the previous
track.
w
Press once to skip to the beginning of the
next track.
To fast forward or rewind (search)
Press the d or f button.
d
Press for rewind.
f Press for fast forward.
To play a specific track
Press the number of the desired track with the
numerical buttons on the remote controller to start
playback from that specific track (see page 40).
