Other Operations
The A-B repeat function lets you mark a segment to repeat
between the beginning “A” and the end “B” of the segment you
want to replay.

Press A-B when you want to choose a scene
(sound) as the beginning point.

Press A-B again to choose a scene (sound)
as the end point.
The DVD Player automatically returns to point A and starts
repeat playback of the selected segment (A-B).
■ To cancel A-B Repeat play
Press A-B so that REPEAT and A-B indicators go off to display
“A TO B CANCELLED.”
Note
Repeat A-B will not function for segments under 3 seconds.
You can view information about a disc on the TV screen.
Press ON SCREEN during playback.
Each time you press ON SCREEN, the on screen display on the
TV screen changes as follows.
DVDs:
→ Title number and chapter number display.
Example: TITLE 01/03 CHAPTER 07/20

Items marked by * are not displayed in PBC mode for Video CDs.
Notes
• Some DVD videos may not display the chapter number or
elapsed time.
• The displayed time information cannot be changed in pause
mode.
• The displayed information cannot be changed while a menu or
the top menu is displayed.
