Attaching the Provided Strap
1.
Attach the strap as shown.

Inserting the Memory Card
(SmartMedia)
1.
Make sure the lens barrier is closed and nothing is displayed on the monitor.
2.
Open the card cover.
3.
Insert the card in the direction shown in the figure.
4.
Close the card cover until it clicks.
Card insertion direction marking
CAUTION ..................................................................................
¼ Be sure to hold the card so that the cut corner is positioned correctly. There is an
arrow inside the card cover, indicating the insertion direction.
¼ To remove the card, press the card gently. When the card ejects slightly, pull out the
card straight out as shown in the direction of A.
