Playing CDs
The CDR-205X is capable of four different styles of
playback.
• Normal playback
• Random playback
• Repeat playback
• Programmed playback
Preparation
• Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).
• Place the CD or recorded CD-R or CD-RW in the
CDR-205X (see page 16).
Normal playback
Press the n button.
Playback starts at track 1.
To stop playback
Press the e button.

To pause playback
Press the n button (or the remote controller g
button). To resume playback, press the n button
(or the remote controller s button).
If a disc is left in pause for more than 10 minutes, it
is automatically stopped and returned to the
beginning.
To skip to specific track
Turn the AMCS dial to the left or right and select the
desired track. With the remote controller, press the
q
or w buttons.
q Press once to skip to the beginning of the
track currently being played. Press twice in
succession to skip to the beginning of the
previous track.
w Press once to skip to the beginning of the
next track.
To fast forward or rewind (search)
Press the d or f buttons.
d
Press for rewind.
f Press for fast forward.
To play a specific track
Press the number of the desired track with the
numerical buttons on the remote controller to start
playback from that specific track (see page 38).
