Setting Option Item
1
1 Press the NEW button while in
STOP mode.
When programmed into the recorder, the
Option Item ID displays.
2 Use the alphanumeric characters
set displayed to set the Option Item
ID.
Characters that can be entered are from 0
to 9, from A to Z, and _.
Entering method
Press the FF/REW button:
Navigate through the character set.
Press the REC button:
Enter the highlighted character and go
on to the next character.
Press and hold the REC button:
Finish entering ID.
Press the ERASE button:
Erase the characters being entered.
If multiple Option Items are programmed
into the recorder, each Option Item ID is
entered in the same way described above.
When entering the final ID is done, the
recorder switches to NEW mode.

The recorder can be programmed with additional user defined fields called Option Items.

Notes
• Each Option Item ID field can accept up to 20 characters maximum.
• If more than one Work Type ID exist on the recorder, the Option Item ID displays after determining the
Work Type.
