Alert Tones
The ET-905 sounds tones to alert you to various telephone conditions.
Tone Cause Remedy
A short repeating beep No Channel Available Simply press TALK again.
If the phone is unable to
find a channel after sever-
al tries, it does not mean
your telephone is not
working, but simply that
there are too many calls in
this band at the time. Sim-
ply use a corded tele-
phone to make your call or
wait a few minutes before
trying again.
Continuous beeps
Note: After 10 seconds of
beeping, the call discon-
nects.
Out-of-Range Move closer to the base
until the beeping stops.
Four beeps, repeating
every 20 seconds during a
call Low Battery Recharge the battery pack
by returning the handset
to the base.
