7. Recommended Procedure for Soldering the M3T-DIRECT100S

(1) Fix the soldering position.
(2) Apply the flux.
(3) Solder.
Fix by solder tentatively.
• Apply the flux plenty to the half circle through holes of 4 sides.
• Use the soldering bit whose contact plane is wide.
• Move the soldering bit parallel with each plane (like sliding the
soldering bit).
• Take care not to push powerfully the half circle through hole.
• Check if there is not soldering bridge.
Note: The recommended foot pattern of the M3T-DIRECT100S is a common foot pattern for the 100P6S-A
and M3T-DIRECT100S. For the M3T-DUMMY100S, use the foot pattern recommended by Matsushita
Electric Works, Ltd. shown in the M3T-DUMMY100S User's Manual.
