Efficiency is tested using a 10-page document, consisting of six black
pages and four pages containing black text and color, with the unit
in auto-color mode (in which it automatically detects whether the
originals are black or color and switches accordingly). In print mode,
the document is printed using the PCL driver at 600-dpi resolution.
BLI obtains the overall effi-
ciency for each copy/print
mode by averaging the effi-
ciency ratings (derived by
dividing the tested speed of
the device by the rated speed,
and then multiplying by 100)
for each run length (1, 5 and
10 sets in copy mode and 1
