Menu System
Country Code
The Country Code is used to select the country of the
disc. It is a prerequisite before the rating of the country
can be selected. The DVD player is preset to Region 1.
The Country Code consists of two letters. Before you
enter the Country Code , you are asked to input the
password. Change the password by using the arrow
buttons. Press
5 or 6 button to select the first letter
and press the 4 button to highlight the second letter.
Then press 5 or 6 button to select the letter and press
ENTER to confirm the country code selection. For the
country code, refer to page 28.
The OTHERS Menu
The OTHERS menu lets you adjust specific player options that enhance your portable DVD player. The
OTHERS menu includes PBC, Auto Play, B.L.E., Load Default, Screen Saver, and Lastplay . These options
are explained in this section.
1. With the player on, press SETUP (menu system appears).
2. Use the 4 button to highlight the OTHERS icon.
3. Use the 5 or 6 buttons to highlight your choice (options explained below).

screen, press SETUP.

PBC (Playback Control)
The PBC option varies on how it works with different
Video CDs. With most Video CDs, turning on Playback
Control enables you to access the Video CD’s menu if it
has one. For normal VCD, the first track begins playback

When you select ON , a pre-recorded DVD disc
immediately starts playing after you insert it into the
player (there’s no need to press the PLAY button). For
VCD and CD discs, the player automatically plays the
disc from the beginning after it is recognized.
