Menu System
Bitstream
– Choose this option when the DVD
Player is connected to an amplifier with a built-in DTS
decoder, Dolby Digital decoder, MPEG decoder, or
other audio equipment with digital audio output jack.
PCM
– Choose this option when the DVD Player
is connected to dual stereo digital audio equipment.
When the DVD disc being played is recorded with the
Dolby Digital, MPEG1/MPEG2 recording systems, the
DVD Player selects PCM as the audio output.
Sampe Freq.
Sample Freq. provides the 48khz and 96khz options for
processing the digital input with sampling frequency at
96 kHz.
When a connected receiver or amplifier is incapable
of processing digital input with sampling frequency at
96khz, the DVD Player selects 48khz and automatically
converts the 96khz singal into the 48khz signal. On
the other hand, if the receiver or amplifier is capable
of outputting digital signals at 96khz, the DVD Player
selects 96khz and processes all signals.
