Functions that Cannot Be Applied Simultaneously
Certain settings in the shooting menu cannot be used with other functions.
Restricted Functions Setting Description
Flash mode Continuous ( A 98)
If set to Continuous, BSS, or Multi-
shot 16, the flash cannot be used.
Image mode Continuous (
A 98)
When using Multi-shot 16, Image
mode is fixed at L Normal (2592).
Continuous Self-timer ( A 30)
When using the self-timer, the setting is
fixed at Single.
ISO sensitivity Continuous ( A 98)
When using Multi-shot 16, ISO
sensitivity is set automatically
according to the brightness.
Electronic VR ISO Sensitivity (
A 99)
When ISO sensitivity is set to any
setting other than Auto, Electronic VR
does not function.
White balance Color options ( A 100)
When using Black-and-white, Sepia,
or Cyanotype, the White balance
setting is fixed at Auto.
Motion detection
Continuous ( A 98)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected,
Motion detection is not enabled.
ISO sensitivity ( A 99)
When the option other than Auto is
selected for ISO sensitivity, Motion
detection is disabled.
Blink warning Continuous ( A 98)
If set to Continuous, BSS, or Multi-
shot 16, blink warning cannot be used.
