Setting your GPS mode
Complete the following:
If you want to... Then...
use GPS select the Normal option.
use WAAS select the WAAS (only available in USA) option.
use EGNOS select the EGNOS (only available in Europe) option.
Note:
WAAS - Wide Area Augmentation System is a navigation system developed for civil aviation by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), a division of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT).
EGNOS - European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service is a satellite based augmentation system (SBAS) under development by
the European Space Agency, the European Commission and EUROCONTROL.
Tip: You should only change the default setting if you are experiencing poor GPS performance.
