MAINTENANCE
Transmission Oil
Always check and change the transmission oil at the intervals outlined
in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 57. Polaris
recommends the use of Polaris Premium AGL Synthetic Gearcase Lube.
See page 103 for the part numbers of Polaris products.
Transmission Oil Recommendations
Oil Check
The dipstick is located on the right side of the vehicle near the recoil
handle.
1. Position the vehicle on a
level surface.
2. Remove the dipstick.
Wipe it dry with a clean
cloth.
3. Reinstall the dipstick
completely.
4. Remove the dipstick and
check the fluid level. Add
fluid as needed. Maintain
the fluid level in the safe
range. Do not overfill.
5. Reinstall the dipstick.
