• Folder Formatting
Under this setting, a directory of folders storing pictures/video clips in
the camera internal memory or a memory card will be named differently
according to their formatting modes.
1. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the
arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds.
2. Set the camera in Auto mode.

Standard: If this option is selected, the directory folder will be named
as “100V5000”.
Date: When this option is selected, the directory folder will
be named after the current date. For example, today is
November 23, 2003. Thus the folder is named “10031123”.
This setting is also available in A/S/M, Video and Playback modes.
