MAINTENANCE
General Maintenance
Tool Kit
A tool kit is included with each machine for
emergency and routine maintenance.
1. Phillips Screwdriver
2. Tubular Socket
3. Tubular Socket Handle
4. Wrench
5. Shielded Screwdriver
6. Scissor Stop Wrench
7. Box End Wrench
NOTE: Always keep the tool kit with the
snowmobile. If necessary, a replacement
tool kit may be purchased from your Polaris dealer.
Tool Pouch Clip
A tool pouch clip (A) is located inside the flap
on the back of the seat. Use this clip to secure
the tools and keep them from bouncing around
during snowmobile use.
Chain Tension
Maintain the proper chain tension as outlined on page 84.
Oil Level
Maintain the oil level between the SAFE and ADD marks on the oil
dipstick. See page 59.
