The Mode Dial
Select the desired mode turning the mode dial.
: Normal Picture mode (P28)
The aperture value and the shutter
speed are automatically adjusted.
: Macro mode (P49)
This allows you to get closer to the
subject up to 10 cm (Wide).
: Portrait mode (P50)
This allows you to easily achieve the
depth of focus effect. The subject
stands out in front of an unfocused
background.
: Landscape mode (P51)
You can capture sharp and crisp
landscape photos easily. Please note
that this mode is suitable for landscape
farther than 3 m away and in daylight.
: Night portrait mode (P52)
This allows you to record the subject
clearly in front of beautiful night
illumination scenery.
: Self-portrait mode (P53)
Use this mode when you want to take a
picture of yourself easily.
: Motion image mode (P54)
This allows you to record motion
images.
: Simple mode (P32)
You can take the pictures easily
because the necessary setting menus
are minimized. This mode is for
beginners.
: Playback mode (P43)
This allows you to play back recorded
pictures.
