9 Option Handset Registration
9.1 Re-registering the
handset
If “ No link to base. Move closer to
base, try again.” is displayed even when
the handset is near the base unit, you may need
to re-register the handset to the base unit.
Make sure the base unit and the handset are
near each other and not being used.
Registration must be completed within 1
minute.
L Keep the front cover page open for button
locations.
1 Base unit:
Press and hold {LOCATOR/INTERCOM}
until a beep sounds.
L “ HS REGISTRATION” is displayed.
2 Handset:
Press and hold {FLASH/CALL WAIT} until
“
Handset Registering” is displayed.
L When registration is complete, a beep
sounds from the handset.
L Wait for 20 seconds after registration is
completed while the handset establishes
communication with the base unit.
Note:
L To stop registration, press {OFF} on the
handset and press {LOCATOR/INTERCOM}
on the base unit.
L If the handset beeps 3 times and “ Error!!”
is displayed, an error occurred. Try again.
