There are 2 answer modes available:
Answer only, and Answer & record.

By default, the answer mode is

ANSWER & REC.

correspondent can leave a message
on the answering machine.
This can be changed to

correspond cannot leave any
messages on the answering machine.

Depending on the answer mode you
have selected, the appropriate default
outgoing message is played once the
answering machine picks up an
incoming call. The language of the
default outgoing message depends on
the country selected in Welcome
mode (see page 12).

Message

10.4.1 Record your Personalised

Outgoing Message

This personal outgoing message
replaces the default ones. To revert to
the default outgoing message, simply
delete the personal outgoing message
you have recorded. If you are not
satisfied with the recorded outgoing
