window
The top-left section of the Make Movie
window is the preview window. Here you
preview your project as it is being burned,
ensuring that it is properly displaying and
playing.
3 Burning
wizard
The top-right section is the Burning
Wizard, which provides a step-by-step
procedure for burning your project onto
CD or DVD.
4 Help
The bottom of the window gives detailed
help about the burning process.
Burning a Disc
To burn your project onto a CD or DVD disc:
1. Insert a blank CD or DVD disc in your CD or DVD drive.
2. In the Make Movie window’s Burning Wizard, choose a Format for
output. The formats are:
DVD (1 hour) and DVD (2 hour): High quality sound and
video content, with a specified length of video content.
VR: DVD-Video Recording. Allows some editing of a the disc
after burning. The ConvertX supports output to drives that
support DVD-VR or DVD+VR. For this format, use a rewritable
(DVD-RW or DVD+RW) disc in the burner.
DVD on CD HQ: High quality video and sound on a CD
holding up to 650-700 megabytes.
DVD on CD: Compressed video and sound on a CD holding up
to 650-700 megabytes.
SVCD: Holds up to a maximum of 650-700 megabytes of video
content. A better version of VCD, SVCD is used primarily in
European and Asian countries.
VCD: Video Compact Disc. Uses MPEG compression and can
display full motion video and sound. Holds up to a maximum of
74 minutes or 80 minutes of video content on a 650- and 700-
megabyte CD, respectively.
