Calling another extension
To another extension (Intercom Call)
When you call Mr. Thomas....
Mr. Thomas's extension number is 123.
• The DSS button light shows the current status as follows:
Off: The extension is idle.
Red on: You or another extension is using the line.
• Do you have an extension directory?
Complete the directory in 6.3.1
Directory and make a copy for your reference.
• For quick operation
If you are an operator or dial some extensions frequently, the DSS button is useful.
