Hold down [POWER] for at least 1 second to
turn the power on.
The thumbnail screen now appears.
Press [MENU/MODE CHK].
Using , and , select “OPERATION”
– “FORMAT”, and press .
A screen such as the one shown below
now appears. Select the number of the slot
in which the P2 card to be formatted has
been inserted. If the card is not going to be
formatted, select “EXIT”.
If [MENU/MODE CHK] is pressed, the menu
display is cleared. •

Select “YES” on the confirmation screen,
and press .
The selected P2 card is now formatted.

When the completion message has
appeared, press “OK” ( ).
If you format the P2 card, all the data saved on the
P2 card is deleted.

Formatting P cards
To prevent the data recorded on the P2 card from being deleted by mistake, set the write-protect switch on
the P2 card to PROTECT.
