Surround right speaker distance
setting
VSX-D714/D814 only
• Default setting: 3 m
You should set the distance of the surround
speakers accurately to hear sounds coming
from all speakers at the same time.
• Use or to set the distance of the
surround right speaker from the main
listening position (within the range of 0.1
m to 9.0 m).
• When S is selected in the speaker
setting, the surround speaker distance
can’t be set.
Surround back speaker distance
setting
VSX-D714/D814 only
• Default setting: 3 m
You should set the distance of the surround
back speakers accurately to hear sounds
coming from all speakers at the same time.
• Use or to set the distance of the
surround back speakers from the main
listening position (within the range of 0.1
m to 9.0 m).
• When SB SW (VSX-D814 only) or SB is
selected in the surround back speaker
setting, the surround back speaker
distance can’t be set.
Surround left speaker distance
setting
VSX-D714/D814 only
• Default setting: 3 m
You should set the distance of the surround
speakers accurately to hear sounds coming
from all speakers at the same time.
• Use or to set the distance of the
surround left speaker from the main
listening position (within the range of 0.1
m to 9.0 m).
• When S is selected in the speaker
setting, the surround speaker distance
can’t be set.
Subwoofer distance setting
• Default setting: 3 m
Like your speakers, you should set the
distance of the subwoofer accurately to hear
sounds from all speakers at the same time.
• Use or to set the distance of the
subwoofer from the main listening posi-
tion (within the range of 0.1 m to 9.0 m).
• When SW NO is selected in the
subwoofer setting, the subwoofer
distance can’t be set.
