Cylinder Head Torque
Have your dealer check the ATV cylinder head for proper torque at the first service, or after
25 hours.
Vehicle Immersion
If the vehicle tips or overturns in water deeper than the footrest level, or if the engine stops
during or after operating in water, restarting WILL result in serious engine damage. Trans-
port the vehicle to your dealer for service before restarting the engine. If this is not possible,
follow the vehicle immersion inspection and drying procedures outlined below. This proce-
dure will allow short-term operation only to drive the ATV to a trailer or towing vehicle.
1. Move the ATV to dry land or at the very least, to water below the footrests.
2. Turn the fuel valve off.
3. Check the air box for any water and dry it if water is present.
4. Remove the spark plug.
