4.5.6.2. Updating the System
Firmware updates may become available for the Big Disk Network.
To install firmware updates:
1. Download updates from www.lacie.com/support/downloads/ .
2. Click the Update the system tab in Maintenance (a, Fig. 65 ).
3. Click New Update (b, Fig. 65 ).
4. Click Browse… and select an update file from your computer.
5. Click Apply.
During the system update you will not have access to the device and
users will not be able to access shares. When the update is com-
plete, the login page will open.
4.5.6.3. Restart
To restart the Big Disk Network, click the Restart button ( Fig. 66 ).
The restart process takes a few minutes. When the machine has
restarted, the login page will open.
