Clean the underside of the test
strip holder and check the
small hole for any dirt, blood,
or lint. Rinse well.
Dry completely with a soft
cloth or tissue.
Step 3: Clean Test Area.
The following cleaning agents
will damage the meter.
DO NOT USE:
• Alcohol
• Cleansers with ammonia
or phenol
• Windex ® or other glass
cleaners
• Abrasive cleansers
Check the clear, protective
coating over the test area to
make sure it is not scratched
or damaged.
CAUTION: DO NOT
GET WATER INSIDE
THE METER.
