The

programs

and

capabilities

come

with

the

server:

Configuration/Setup

Utility

program

The

Configuration/Setup

Utility

program

is

part

of

the

basic

input/output

system

(BIOS).

Use

it

to

configure

serial

port

assignments,

change

interrupt

request

(IRQ)

settings,

change

the

startup-device

sequence,

set

the

date

and

time,

and

set

passwords.

EasyStartup

DVD

This

bootable

DVD

automatically

launches

the

ThinkServer

EasyStartup

program,

which

simplifies

the

process

of

installing

an

operating

system

and

device

drivers

on

your

server.

The

ThinkServer

EasyStartup

program

prompts

you

for

information

required

by

the

operating

system

for

installation,

prepares

the

hard

disk,

prompts

you

to

insert

your

operating

system

installation

disc

(CD

or

DVD),

and

launches

an

unattended

installation

of

the

operating

system.
