Mobile Apps: Accessing your DVR Using a Mobile Device

To connect to your DVR using a Blackberry
smartphone, you must download and install the
Mobile View Application from

your router before you can
connect to your system
using a mobile device (i.e
Blackberry 9000)

Requirements:
• Blackberry 8900, 9000, 9700, or 9800
• Blackberry Desktop Software
NOTE: Lorex does not support Blackberry Desktop Software. Blackberry may change their
software interface without prior notice.
• Obtain your Blackberry’s APN (Access Point Name) from your service provider, and enable
APN on your Blackberry.
Installing Mobile View on the Blackberry:

On your comput
search for the model number of your
DVR (e.g. LH338).

Download the Mobile View Application from your DVR’s product page. Extract the contents of
the .zip file into a folder.

Connect the Blackberry to your computer using a USB cable.

Open Blackberry Desktop Software.

Click Applications. Wait for the applications list to populate.
