Customising the
KOLEKTOR
This chapter explains the advanced features of the KOLEKTOR,
including configuring the source inputs and the user options.
Configuring the inputs
The KOLEKTOR allows you to assign any of 12 alternative source
names to each of the ten inputs on the back panel. The name you
assign to an input determines the display shown on the front panel,
and the handset button used to select the source.
You can assign the same name to two or more different inputs, in
which case the inputs will be selected in turn each time you press
the corresponding handset button.
Using a moving magnet phono source
If you want to use a moving magnet phono source with the
KOLEKTOR Preamplifier connect it to input 1, and change input 1
to the name
Ph. You cannot give the name Ph to any of the other
inputs.
Removing inputs
You can assign the name
__ to any input, to indicate that it is
unused. The input will then not appear when you step through the
sources with the SRC- and SRC+ buttons. This is very convenient if
you have fewer than ten sources.
