Shooting Close Up/Long Range

Macro-photo Mode

- Use this mode when you want to be close to the subject.
- If the distance between the camera and the subject is close, there will

be a difference between the image in the viewfinder and the picture
that is actually taken. It is recommended that the LCD monitor be
used.

• Use a tripod to prevent shaking

as shutter speeds are slower when taking

close-ups.

• The self-timer function can be used in conjunction with this function.

• If you use the flash when shooting very close to the subject, the image may

come out too bright. For information about the flash shooting distance, see
page 40.
